protective factor (e.g., parent, peers, teacher, etc.) and that may have

buffered the effects.

(police, courts, corrections)

factors. This is again an opportunity to think creatively, utilizing and

building upon content discussed in the course.

alternative answers that can be justified. Your conclusion can be what you

find most relevant and memorable after working through all of the above

information. Whatever your conclusion, please justify it using an example

from the case.

Remember that you should avoid first

person language (e.g. “A primary

takeaway from this case is …”

instead of

“I think it is interesting that…”).

3. Overall Tips

To earn a high grade on this paper, it must be well written, meet the formatting

criteria, avoid the first person, answer all of the above questions, incorporate

specific information from the textbook/lectures/case, synthesize learned

information, and draw

original conclusions.

You must clearly address

each of the above sections
